"EcoCiv weaves the weavers, engendering a yes-and approach to networking and movement making that's as personal as it is planetary."
Douglas Rushkoff, Advisory Partner

For an organism, the role of connective tissue might be to: empower the organism to act on its environment to modify it; enable the organism to coordinate itself; and send nourishment where it’s most needed.
This roughly corresponds to our three primary strategies:

Transformational change requires
integrating grassroots community action with system-wide
coherence supported by
narratives of possibility
A successful movement for change requires enough intentional coordination for coherence, and enough autonomous differentiation for vitality.
This dynamic, known as reciprocal causality,
is what the Ecocivilization Coalition
plans to cultivate.
